The variable for the current user's profile (Documents and Settings...) is currently unavailable when creating file and folder exclusions in Centralized Exception policies.

I know that this variable exists, as many programs (Internet Explorer, Firefox et all) use it; It stands to reason that exclusions may need to be made there.

The ability to use wildcards or regular expressions in centralized exclusions is critical.  Please bring it back as soon as possible.

Yes, wild card for user profile is crucial.  We use an in-house dotnet app and it creates a directory in the user profile folder, We use endpoint 2013 SBE and 12.1 and with latest updates the app picks up and quaranteens the files related to our app.  It is not feasable to add each user's profile to the exceptions and the fingerprint of the app changes each time the app is updated by our devs.

Please bring either support for wild card in user profile.

We use Dragon software and they recommend profile exclusions, so I can't add every username of our 15K user environment for an exception.

User folder and other variable customizations is a must for enterprise product to work in a enterprise environment. Other wise its just like any home user antivirus.

Please consider and fix this on priority.

Symantec has to learn from its competitor who has buit a product which can be customized to any lengths.
