Status: Partially Implemented

Recently, I tried to add a screenshot to one of my comments and it is difficult.  The screenshot was saved as a JPEG file on my local harddisk.  It took me a couple fo tries before I managed to figure out how to add the screenshot.  The current procedure seems to favour images that are already posted on the Web.  I think most of the time if we have screenshots/images, it would be on our local harddisk.

Please simplify the procedure for adding an image to comments.

Now available on Comments in Forum Area

We've just added the ability to attach files (log files, screen captures) to comments in the forum area of Connect.

Give it a try (use the "file attachments" link below the comment body) and let us know what you think.

Much needed!

Admin,
Thanks!  This is a much needed issue.  Until now we've had to direct users to start a new thread to attach a file (or a blog, etc).

Thanks,
Kyle

I'll also add that we are

I'll also add that we are working on functionality that will simplify the process of inserting inline images into content.  Stay tuned.
