Symantec Licensing Portal - License Management

Here are a few suggestions for the Symantec Licensing Portal

• The ability to add a Certificate number to pull in all the licenses on that Certificate instead of adding each Serial Number.
• When drilling down to the details of the license, you don’t know when it will expire. We have to go back to the original email or paper certificates to verify when we have to renew or rely on the Symantec Licensing Renewal emails.
• At the portal you could prompt the user that their licenses for XYZ product is about to expire with an option to acknowledge the reminder and to not remind them again in case they intend for the license to expire.
• The ability to print your original certificate from the site.

In general, better license management capabilities on the site would make life easier for IT managers who don’t' have enough licenses to qualify for the co-termination of their licenses and have their renewals spread throughout the year.
