Track the time messages have spent in various components at Notice level

I'd like to log the following enhancement re. Mail processing.

Can we track the time messages have spent in various components at Notice level?

This would allow us to be able to see the amount of time a message has spent in the various components like e.g. bmserver, bmclient, mta, etc. without having to set the SBG appliance in information or debug .

The disadvantage of that the debug (and to a lesser extent the information) log level is that:

• At “debug ” the message content is logged, which violates some European privacy laws
• The amount of logged information can be so large that even a Syslog server may not be able to handle the extra amount, especially if you are waiting for a rare event to happen.
• The “debug ” level is very noisy and can possibly raise more questions than it answers.
