By default, managed SEP clients will get their virus definitions from their SEPM.  This is fine for desktops which are in constant contact with the SEPM.  For travelers who may be away from the office for extended period of time, this leaves them vulnerable as their virus definitions will be out-of-date.  I would like my travelers to get their updates from SEPM when they are in the office and the Symantec LiveUpdate server when they are away from the office.  Being new to policies, I sought the help of tech support.  I took 2 engineers before I got the policy right.  (The first engineer provided a partial solution.)

I would be good to have such a policy out-of-the-box so that new users can use it immediately and protect their travelers.
