Status: Partially Implemented

I think it would be great to have the following ideas implemented at the Vision conference:

1. Live streaming of the keynotes (and other events, possibly the User Group Challenge). Also record them for posting immediatley to Connect or a Symantec YouTube channel.
2. Have a live twitter feed where people both in person and watching live can tweet questions and comments.  The twitter feed can then be streamed/scrolled on a screen or the side of a screen during the keynote
3. Have some webcam's in other common areas of the convention.  These feeds as well as twitter posts could be posted throughout the convention center on screens as well.
4. Have some interactive kiosks around the convention that would allow you to learn about the vendors, look up documentation or KB's, last minute schedule changes, or anything that would be relevant to the convention and Symantec as a whole.

All these ideas would help bring a stronger senese of community, global connectiveness, and provide a richer experience for not only those who are able to attend, but also those who just couldn't attend but are still very vested in Symantec.

I like the idea of #1, though

I like the idea of #1, though if they streamed everything I would imagine that attendance would take some sort of a hit since people would be able to get the experience for free (granted, for anyone who's attended they know that a lot would still be missed if watching over the Internet).

I would think #2 may be distracting to the audience and to unseasoned presenters.  Personally I find myself reading the closed captioned titles instead of the TV show when the TV is showing them!

The web cams and kiosks are really awesome ideas and I'm sure they'd have the bandwidth to pull that off.

The Keynotes, as well as many

The Keynotes, as well as many of the breakout sessions will be posted on Connect in the next couple of days. In fact, be sure to check out all the Vision videos here.
