Ability to purge Software Requests Queue

We are using the Software Portal and have found that the Software Requests queue does not remove Approved requests. As a result it gets rather populated. As we continue to use the Software Portal we'd like the ability to purge the requests in there so that 1) They don't continue to show up for users months after they have requested them/installed and 2) Ability for Administrators to more easily find data.
