The Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) has the capability to generate Client Inventory reports which provide excellent detail on all managed clients (details on definitions, IPS defs, OS version, etc)  In particular, when the Client Inventory report is exported, there is a csv spreadsheet that contains info not displayed in the Console- this report is full of almost everything that needs to be known about each SEP client.   

One piece of missing data is the Decomposer version.  This Client Inventory report could be improved by adding this field, making it possible for admins to determine which clients are using which version of the Decomposer.  This would have been useful to many admins so they would know which SEP clients need to be patched against sym12-017 Symantec Legacy Decomposer CAB File Issues (CVE-2012-4953).
