At present (Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1) SEP can be installed on Macintosh machines, but it does not have the same full feature set as SEP on Windows.  It would be very beneficial if the SEP for Mac was enhanced to include a Firewall (NTP, Network Threat Protection) as well.
