Add pre-recovery checks for nbrestorevm command

Restores using the nbrestorevm command for NBU 7.6 could fail if the target datastore does not have enough available free space. The command should have an option to run a pre-recovery check to first confirm the requirements for the restore and report back the results. Much like the recovery wizard does in the NBU Admin Console.

This feature would definitely be helpful!

Meanwhile, are there any work arounds or other means to get the same result in any version of Netbackup that supports restoring VMs from command line?

I need to write a script that would get a list of VMs with their parameters and restore them all from a latest backup. Is my understanding correct that:

a) currently I can't check before running the actual restore command whether my parameters are valid and the restore most likely will succeed (exactly what the Pre-recovery Check button does)

and

b) if I run the restorevm command from a non-Master server host I have no way of programmatically checking the status and result codes of this command that are shown in the Activity Monitor of the Admin console (on the Master server I believe I could use bpdbjobs command for this)

Thank you!
