Add Status Drop Down in the Reclassify Task and Advance Form
Service Desk currently sets the status inside the workflows. With the lock down of SD.IncidentManagement we will no longer be able to make changes to that workflow. Our workers like to manually set the status of an incident so that they have more control and a more accurate status than the ones used by default. We should be able to add statuses in the Application Properties like the Close Codes and they should populate in the Reclassify and Advance form.
I did a customization to add this to the two areas and it was an easy thing to implement not to mention that most Service Desk applications have this feature.
