Additional NetBackup and BackupExec Database agents

NetBackup and BackupExec both have agents for taking hot backups of various different database platforms, the support for these platforms hasn't changed much in the last 5 years or so with only really support for SharePoint being added.  Over the past few years, additional database platforms have become popular which NetBackup and BackupExec do not have agents for, such platforms include:

• MySQL
• Postgres
• Ingres

Many competitor backup products do have agents for these and many other database platforms which NetBackup and BackupExec do not support.  I would like to see the database support enhanced to cover more database platforms.  I know there is now a 3rd party tool which can be used with NetBackup to get MySQL support (Zmanda I believe), but one should not have to purchase 3rd party tools in order to get functionality which should be built in.
