Agent Support for Power Management Notifications
Created: 07 Feb 2013 | 2 comments
Update the deployment agent service to subscribe to WM_POWERBROADCAST messages. This would allow the service to notify the deployment server when a workstation is about to change power states.
When a SUSPEND message is received, the agent can notify the server to change its state so that it appears properly in the console as powered off, in stand-by, or on; the agent could also set the SetThreadExecutionState to prevent the workstation from entering a suspend mode if a task is in progress. Conversely, is the agent receives a RESUME message, if can notify the server to change its state so that is appears properly in the console as powered on.

Good idea. This would help out a lot.
And clearly display the status of the client everywhere on the console.
