Auto follow up for closing DLP cases

Hi all,

 

her i am sharing one more idea related to symantec DLP. as i am aware of this product and got some new idea as requirement to increase eficiency of DLP and reduce the manual intevention of IT professional. I think when any case is in escalated status ther is need of some duration/ period in between auto follow up to concern supervisors and it should stop to auto follow up while case is going to close.Currently we need to take continously follow up with concern people which takes lots of time to finish.

Dear Kishrilal,

Appreciate your idea, but there is a little problem, Whenever we are escalating a incident from dlp i.e our first escalation. At that time the supervisor may be on business tour or on annual leave. and he/she don't have mail access, hence he can't revert back to you. In second escalation we can sent the reminder to same manager with cc to his supervisor. Concern user will then revert to us, else his supervisor will revert.

Some time the case will in open status for 30-40 days. If dlp will take auto follow up then it will sent a auto message to that supervisor, he/she can irretate on us if he/she will received continue message from dlp.
