As Exchange 2013 is now out, there are already customers planning their implementation schedule for it. If they are using Backup Exec for backing up their current Exchange infrastructure, they probably want to continue using the same product for the new Exchange version.

There is currently no public availability information of Backup Exec Exchange 2013 support, which is limiting customer planning and scheduling.

How come symantec hasn't already released somekind of time frame for avaliablility? Same goes for SharePoint 2013.

It's kind of weird that we need to wait ~6 months before we can implement a new product just because some software doesn't support it.

Once again, Symantec has dropped the ball.  Frustrating, but not really surprising.  I wish there was a seriously better alternative.

So is upcoming SP3 for R3 for 2010 going to fix this?   Will it be able to perform a granular backup of Exchange?

Are there any updates to this thread?  I can't find any information on the site as to if BE2010 R3 SP3 will support Exchange 2013 or not.

Thanks for the Beta. Now we need the final release to implement it in the production. We have lots of MS Exchange 2013 projects pending and depending on this update. Symantec, we trust you can do it faster. Please hurry!.
