Currently if a job starts and there are no media in the media set available for overwrite, BE will only check the "scratch media" media set for available media, it will not recheck its own media set for the job to see if any media has come available for overwrite.

I suggest this should change so that BE check both the scratch media and the job's media set at the same time and choose the media to use based on the Media Management option set under tools/options.

Reasoning for this is that occassionally people can muck up changing tapes at data centers (a third party). The current state requires the system administrator (after the third party has loaded the tape) to log in and move the tape to the sratch media set, just for the job to continue.
