Better support for systems with strict security in the SORT Data Collector and installrp

If /var/tmp is mounted with noexec option then the sort data collector creates an alomost empty veritas explorer file.

If /var/tmp is mounted with noexec option then installrp fails to fully install a rolling patch but reports the status as succeeded.

The work-around is:

./sortdc -vxexplorer -tmppath=/root/sortdc-tmp

./installrp -tmppath=/root/installrp-tmp

What we would like to seen in a future versions:

  1. This option/usage is should be listed in the output of "./sortdc -h" or the README file.
  2. We would like to see an error if someone runs sortdc without this option with a noexec mounted /var/tmp. At best it would prompt for an alternative tmppath.

Please test all SFHA products with /tmp and /var/tmp mounted with noexec option during QA.

I've forwarded this

I've forwarded this suggestion to our SORT team to determine the right next step.  Thank you for including the Technote.  At the very least, we should have this technote reference in our help files.
