Brightmail Gateway: bypass language filtering for addresses in "Good Senders" lists
I have a customer that got a lot of spam in certain foreign languages, so those were blocked via the language filter in Brightmail.
This filter, however, occasionally registers false positives: messages in English are deleted, even though English is not a blocked language.
This happens in particular with a few senders. These senders are added to the list of Good Senders ("Local Good Sender Domains"), but still their messages are deleted.
One would think that messages coming from whitelisted addresses would bypass language filtering. Surprisingly, this is not the case. There is an option to bypass the content filter for whitelisted entries, but not the language filter.
Could we please add this option?
