Can we please make the Authorized Clients Group able to use Targets as well as Filters?
Dear Symantec,
We are deploying ALL of our software via Altiris and therefore, ALL of the software that is installed outside of Managed Software Delivery is therefore considered unauthorized software.
We are using Targets to define which computers have which software via Managed Software Delivery policies, however, when we want to set the Authorized Clients for a License in AMS, we need to use a Filter.
As Symantec advise us to use Targets, not Filters, for the deployment, we need to find a way of going back to NS 6.0 time and creating more Filters to match with the computers in the Targets, which is against the whole point of creating reusable Filters in SMP 7.x!
So, can we please make the Authorized Clients Group able to use Targets as well as Filters? This should be just a case of adding a column in the data class with the item type (Filter or Target) and on an upgrade, all current lines can be set as Filter Type items.

No. I would wait until after SMP 7.5 is released. SMP 7.5 went into lockdown before this Idea was suggested.
