Capture System Manufacturer and Model in Basic Inventory

Basic Inventory in CMS 7.0 introduced the ability to capture the S/N without a fullHW inventory.  This is great!  However, S/N is not unique anymore without knowing the model of the system.  Capturing the System Manufacturer and Model within the basic inventory would go a long ways to helping resolve Asset Management data lag issues with new agent installs.

that's a shame a so nice basic report from DS 6.9 easy to use,

come a nightmare with NS7 all the same 7.1 sp2

here the report for the SQL is there, thanks to vote if using or find usefull: (publish french, but SQL no dependant language :)

Serial numbers show up wrong. Most show up looking more like a part number.

Hello,

it would be great to have basic inventory in automation too. It is quite hard to identify new machines when only automation scan occured.
