Column Layout in Remote Admin Console

Hi,

I have recently started using the Remote Administration Console for NetBackup 7.1 (MP4) instead of the Java Admin Console due to limitations in the Java version such as filtering within the Activity Monitor. I have however realised that having spent the time and effort to customise the column layout within Activity Monitor to show the fields that are most useful to myself, this customisation cannot be saved and is lost as soon as you close the console.

I think this functionality would be really useful and was appreciated in the Java Console. Please can this be added to the next version?

this customisation cannot be saved and is lost as soon as you close the console.

Try <right-click> -> Settings -> Save as Default.

This will save your current column layout as the default. You can change as many times as you like for your current requirements & (as long as you don't save again) always 'Reload from Default'.

This should work for *any* of the column layouts within the GUI.
