Our customer exeriences phenomenon that scheduled donwload or scheduled distribution sometimes fails in LUA. When scheduled download or distribution fails, they have to log on to LUA and run manual download or manual distribution. Our customer has requested us to add commands like doscan.exe so that LUA can run download and distribution tasks in command line. If download and distribution tasks can be executed in command line, the tasks can run on taskscheduler.

Hi Test567

"Thumbs up" from me- might be handy.

In the meantime, do make sure that all LUA servers are configured following this article's settings.  It will really reduce the number of failed download jobs.

Also, make sure that the LUA server is not trying to perform many download, distro, purge, etc jobs all at once.  The less overlap, the more resources LUA can devote to each task.

With thanks and best regards,

Mick
