Data Loss Prevention (Vontu) for Windows8

The bank is looking to deploy this capability, the agent on desktop. As soon as practical. However they are also updating desktops to run Windows8. Therefore we are very keen to see as early as possible release, Beta then into full release of this product.
Could we please get an update on where this is at in terms of Win8 support. The local representatives are not able to provide and are only suggesting mid 2013 as a possible.

You actually can install the current version of Vontu on Windows 8. Just right-click on the installer and select "troubleshoot compatibility" This will allow the application to install via emulation.

There is no OFFICIAL
There is no OFFICIAL announcement on this, but from my contacts within..
They are planning have a DLP agent to support Windows 8 "Desktop mode" in the 12.5 release (around the end of the year\beginning of 2014).
This is just a plan and NOT a guarantee.
Overall I am a little surprised that companies are even looking at Windows 8.. Not ready for prime time OS!
