The existing EV Configuration scripts stipulate a 10MB database size when creating the EVDirectory database (and others).

With SQL2008 it is now best practise to tune the Model database to a minimum size of 50MB or 100MB.  This improves performance.

Please adjust the EV database creation scripts to use a minimum size of at least 100MB. The Directory and Vault store databases often grow to much larger sizes.  This will  minimise the risk of the Configuration script failing and resulting in the errors as described in TECH 48229.

I would be grateful if this minor admendment could be retro-fitted to V9 as well.

Thanks

I agree with this, and the good news is that from what I can see this change has been made in 9.0.3 and 10.0.1....  QA work pending, of course.

As Rob mentioned we have been looking into this, EV 10.0.1 and 9.0.3 will both now use the model database default size.
