As per latest compatibility list SQL 2012 is in pending state

Enhancement request for EV, EV Building block method helps customer to make EV in HA with manual intervention, but SQL is not HA it's still stand alone. If SQL 2012 is under testing stage, would recommend Sym team to look for Always ON Feature of SQL. to use with EV

SQL 2010 Always on feature is a brilliant feature like Exchange 2010 DAG Groups, in future most people would want to use this feature in their database environment because of the simplicity of this feature over clustering and mirroring. EV Should really support this.

Mornin' All

EV is not at 10.0.4 and SQL 2012 AlwaysOn support was suggested for 10.0.3 (https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/ev-1002-sql-server-2012-alwayson-availability-group).

Is there any update on this?

SQL Server 2012 AlwaysOn support is being worked.  There is significant work needed to be completed, so that support will more likely start in a version of EV 11.0.  Of course, this is always subject to change.

I'm compiling a list of customers that are interested in SQL 2012 AlwaysOn support for EV. I have a commitment from EV Product Management to get attention for this once the demand has been measured. Please let me know if you'd like to be included. You can reach out to me via PM or via email if you don't want to mention names on the forum post.

I would see support for SQL 2012 AlwaysOn support for EV to be very important.

I would love to see this added. Our entire enterprise is migrating to 2012 with AlwaysOn as the default HA option. It is really the 'best of all worlds' as far as current ha/dr processes for SQL go.

If I was helpful in solving your issue please mark my post with a thumbs up or a solution!  Have a great day :)
