Exchange 2010 Public Folder deleted items
In my recently restore request I found that the deleted items in Public Folder were showing up, Symantec tech support said this is by design, the deleted items would not be showing up after the deletion retention. This is an issue for me as I can not restore to the point of time. Our users use calendar in public folder to keep tracking working hours, but when I restore to the date they asked for, tone of deleted items are there to make the restore not usable. We have the deletion retention set for 30 days, and we do not want to short it. Could you please make sure the public folder deleted items not showing after a restore? Thanks.
