It seems SEP 10 11 and 12 store about 2 gig of virus definition in several location per desktop

When you are backing up all the desktops this amount quickly adds up to a lot of extra data to backup

Hi Linas

SEP 12.1 should actually solve this issue.  Previous versions kept several past sets of definitions (3 by default) in case of corruption, but SEP 12.1 just keeps one.

I spent the day with support working on this issue with SEP 121.671.4971

And yes is still keeps 2 copies to use as a differential in 2 locations

After support told me all the data was normal they told me to put this on the forum and to ask for a feature request to change this

So that is what this is.
