Explain why Scan Log, Risk Log and System Log are not visible for a standard user
When you log on as a standard user to Symantec Endpoint Protection, you do not have the ability to see the Scan Log, Risk Log and System Log.
The logs show up with blank lines. The corresponding log file however is not empty.
Logs for Proactive Threat Protection or Network Threat Protection are visible to a standard user.
To see these all logs you need to be logged on as Administrator (NOTE: Administrator permissions to the folders where these logs are stored is not enough).
To avoid confusion, it would be better that for standard users the option for View Logs under Antivirus and Antispyware Protection is grayed out or a warning appears (like "This feature is locked on purpose").
Alternatively I suggest to set the option for standard users to view the Antivirus and Antispyware Protection logs from the SEP Manager.

Same opinion here! I really
Same opinion here! I really don't know why it should be a security risk if a user can see this logs!
I also suggest to set the option for standard users to view the Antivirus and Antispyware Protection logs from the SEP Manager.
So what's the status?
There's been no movement on this in 6 months. I have been unable to find any options in SEPM that will allow non-administrators to view logs. Any status update?
Clarification
Clarification: I have been unable to find any policy setting(s) in SEPM that will allow non-administrators to view Scan/Risk/System logs in the SEP GUI. Symantec, any updates? I find it ridiculous that end-users would not be allowed to view the logs from the SEP GUI.
