It is suggested to try credentials and configurations as the entire process in a test environment first. But then if this test phase comes to an end because the final configuration has been found and ways to use the product has been discovered and tested these results needed to be implemented to a productive environment.
Other possibility could be the fact that a server gets replaced and so a new instance of Mobile Management Solution gets installed on the new serve.

Both scenarios create the need for an option to could export the created payloads.
Such an export and import feature could low down the necessary offer to spend configuring the new server.

Unfortunately such an option/function is not available for Mobile Management Solution 7.x yet.
