Dear All,

it's a common problem, that our customers want to disable executable, media downloads/uploads for the colleagues, but they want to let media download/upload for PR and executable for IT. Now there only global filtering exists. Is it possible to change the global filtering into the policies?

Regards,

Viktor

You add a blacklist entry placing the blocked extension(s) into a specific category. You would then only block that category in the policy for the people not allowed to access those file extensions.

Is there any possibility to create new categories, e.g.: executable files...etc?

Thx. in advance!

No, you cannot add categories. You can use the predefined categories such as the Custom Restricted Lists.
