FileConnect latest changes do no longer include the HTTP download option but only the Java one, which most likely will redirect you to Oracle.com if your browser blocks the plugin.

The idea is to restore the HTTP download option on FileConnect.

Please vote Up if you like the idea.

yes please, allow the normal HTTP download feature again.

it's a huge inconvenience that the direct download feature was removed. it's a disservice that we are now required to install java from oracle in order to download symantec software.

Hi, I can now confirmed that from the Fileconnect site I can now download the SEPM 12.1.2. RU2.MP1 (https://symantec.flexnetoperations.com/control/symc/index) through HTTPS connection without the applect requirement.
