Hi all

We just implement Netbackup on our systems. We noticed the confusion in the Activity Monitor. Perhaps you can see the jobs that belong to group. This would greatly simplify our business. You could link the dependent jobs. Or the policies represent a single job. This job can then be extended via a click on the entry and receives the individual streams.

Here is an example:

Best regards

Yes, this would be a great help, especially for Oracle backup jobs with many streams.

There is a feature in 7.6.1 which can group items based on their Parent ID in the Activity monitor. So first version of this should be here shortly.

Did you restore something today?

it is a step forward.

But if they use parent Id to identify the group, It has almost no benefit.

Parent ID does not work for databases, as every backup job has its own Parent ID.

Where Do I find that feature in 7.6.0.1

I had a look at all "View" options and customizations options but was not able to find it.

It is part of the 7.6.1 beta which is about a month old. I probably will not have time to setup Oracle backups in my 7.6.1 beta environment, so we will have to wait until its GA before we know that.

its not 7.6.0.1 . Morten is referring to 7.6.1(.0), which is in development state. I do not know it symantec had release any beta of 7.6.1 yet
