GUP using AD Topology

The automatic GUP functionality is not always useable since the GUP server and Clients must be on the same Subnet.
Clients and Servers are often VLAN segmented.

I would like a function much like the Site server Topology in Altiris where we can assign specific GUP servers manually to a given subnet.

Fully agree.

While SEP is not a discovery / inventory tool, I would appreciate the ability to assign certain IP ranges to a GUP in some manner.

Hi,
For SEPM12.1 pls call to symtec licencing team, in fileconnect you will see only upgrade vesion of SEPM MR7 6300 or SEPM RU7 MP1. For 12.1 the licencing team will give you seperate serial number to log in fileconnect.symantec.com to dowonlaod and also they will send you the licency key too. Because SEPM12.1 required to enter the serial number to run else it will run next 60 days as trial version
