In regards to the SEP feature to display a notification message to end users with outdated or missing virus definitions.  The feature is found in a Virus and Spyware Protection policy on the SEPM under:

Advanced options>Miscellaneous>Notifications tab

The character limit is currently 188 characters.  I believe that is too small to get an actionable message across to the end user with enough information to seek appropriate resolution.  The actual input field when you select the "Message" button in said area is very large.  It is approximately 300 characters, but when you try to use the space you cannot continue past 188 characters.  This forces a SEPM admin to abbreviate or withhold necessary information to accomodate the limited space.

Thank you for reading.

The ability to use the full space to explain how to remediate this problem would be very helpful!
