On Roadmap
Dear Connect Team,
I observe that notifications carry at least a portion of the message in context so that I can immediately know the message from the email before even hopping onto Connect through the web browser. However in Private Messages I am forced to hop on to Connect to view the message.
- Is there an intentional reason for doing this?
- Would it be possible for you to take a feature request to provide the message also as part of the notificaiton thread.
- Also when I click on the link I am presented with a hostile Access denied message which I have click to login. You can actually implicitly bypass this access denied page by prompting a logon and automatically redirecting to the message. Wouldn't that be more user-friendly?

This has already been requested and is on the roadmap.
Dear Leslie,
That addresses Point 1 and Point 2. Point 3 is actually an annoyance. Is there a way you can take it to the Connect Development team and fix the same? It is actually very simple fix. You need to redirect to the login page and once logo process complete, HTTP_REFERER can bring you back to the correct page again.
You made an assumption that Point 3 had not been addressed already. It has. It is also on the roadmap.
