Integrate ServiceDesk's Scheduled Changes calendar with 3rd Party Calendars

ServiceDesk's Scheduled Changes calendar is intended to act as a Forward Schedule of Changes (FSC) for the Change Management module. Unfortunately this calendar is based on Workflow Solution Schedules which are very very basic in their appearance and functionality.
A better solution would be to have the Change Management module integrate with 3rd party calendar solutions such as Microsoft Exchange. Such solutions are very flexible, allow easy sharing of calendars, advanced formatting and are extremely common around the world. Calendar entries could be placed in a shared calendar and include change plan details or links back to the change tickets.
Even if the internal schedules needed to be kept, a sync to an external calendar would be extremely useful.
