As you can see from BMR main issues in symantec connect forum, most of them are drivers related.

The procedure to add drivers (especialy for NIC) in the ISO files is not so logical -

01. Boot ISO image
02. See the error message about that there is no network driver
03 add drivers in new configuration
04 create new ISO file
05 Restart destination and boot again using the new ISO file

If you don't have storage info and you need to discover:
06 Discover
07 Select the new discovered configuration
08. Click Prepare to restore again
09. Boot using the new image

Will be really faster if you can install drivers from BMR client interface.

The procedure can be:

01. Boot from ISO file
02. See the error message about that there is no network driver
03. Load a network driver using BMR client interface
04. Do a discovery
05. Select the new discovered configuration
06. Boot from old ISO file and select NIC drivers again

This will save a lot of time, and a lot of restarts. If you are not sure what driver should you use, testing of the driver backs will be faster than if you put the new driver and generate new ISO every time.

I already saw this to work in other software - Shadow Protect and I am sure that It can be done.
