Sending an APN message would be a greate idea, similar to the APN message which can be sent via iCloud.

Yes, would like also the Mobile Symantec agent able to provide similar feature for Android also.

Best:

providing API/tasks to use this feature from a Workflow, or any custom actions, so we are able to "automate" notification to groups of users (and devices)
Of course, we can also use a simple SMS, but not all tablet having a phone number :)
