I would love to see an iPhone app for the connect web site. It is hard to browse through Safari.

Obviously to cram the same experience into a screen 1/10th the size of a full size monitor we'd need to trim some stuff out. Do you mostly want to read or read and post items? Forums or all content?
The Facebook iPhone app is a good example of how to gett alot into a small screen. There is a launch point screen with icons to various areas like newfeed, profile, inbox, etc. I beleive it is a nice model.

A good mobile should be include all forums with at least the read functions. I see some difficult to post with images , etc. using a mobile apps.
I got ipod for my community contribution.. Awaiting for this Application...
Thanks, Karthikeyan Sundaram.
Could be useful but can you just go on the internet with the iphone?
I would suggest making the app for Android also because Apple and Android are the two most powerful phones on the market and they will become the dominant phones worldwide because of their abilities
In any case , it could be also an easy solution to make Connect site version for mobile users and browse the content directly in the preferred browser.
Every of app for iPhone or iPad is depend on technology development that appropriate with user requirement and life styles. So each of developers never stop to learn in app development.

There are apps already like TapATalk that can make a forum site mobile. There are also dedicated apps built by forum owners too.
This is a VERY common app, and becoming more and more popular.
Of course, you lose some of the feature rich features from a handheld like say attachments. But to read and post comments are some rudimentry features that can easily be implemented with little effort (pre-built API e.g. tapatalk) or with little cost up front cost, i.e. build your own...
Though I would bet that a use case has to be made, a project timeline set, a product manager involved to validate the use case, executive approval, budget granted, site built, beta tested, FA release, than move to GA.. Should we count on a Q2 2013 release? Then it not usable till SP1?
There is an online portal, save yourself the long hold times. Create ticket online, then call in with ticket # in hand :-) http://mysupport.symantec.com "We backup data to restore, we don't backup data just to back it up."

We do not have current plans to release an iPhone or iPad app. However, we have recently launched a movile version of the site. To access this site, simply access Connect (www.symatec.com/connect) from your mobile device.
