LiveUpdate Administrator is a Distribution Center which provides updates to the clients connecting to it.

Here is a Scenario:

Consider a network of 5000 clients, out of which 2000 are remote users. If we have configured the remote users to take the update from the LiveUpdate Administrator when they are out of office; the LiveUpdate Administrator should be able to let us know which clients have connected and got update from the LiveUpdate Administrator.

Suggestion to have database for the LUA to store and provide the info for the logs.

Sounds good in theory, but I don't see the feasibility of this working in practice. You would have to create a communication path between endpoints. Dramatically increase the size of the database, and completely re-write the application. LUA was designed to send out content as fast as possible, it's a one way data stream.
