Make the start date more visible for MSD policies
This applies to 7.0 and 7.1 Managed Software Delivery policies.
Targets that are added to the MSD after it's initial creation date immediately run the MSD. For example, if the MSD is created on 5/19/11 and the customer has it set to run at 'start up' or 10PM that night everything works. However, if he adds another target to the MSD after the initial creation date, then any clients that receive the MSD immediately run it out of schedule regardless if it's 10PM or not. It's acting as if the policy time has already passed despite the time to run being in the future.
What the customer wants:
When an MSD is created and a scheduled time is added, the MSD should wait until that time to run.
The customer can work around this by opening the MSD and under the 'Schedule' part, click on the 'Advanced' button and change the date to a day in the future. The problem with this is if the customer wants to reuse this policy for a different target of computers he has to remember to come in here and change the start date to a future day.
Is there a way to set up an MSD to not be keyed to a specific creation date so the policy can be reused without the customer constantly changing the 'Start\End date' in 'Advanced' options?
Enhancment request:
Make the start date visible. Perhaps put it on the same line as the start time with a link to click on that opens the Advanced box to change the date.
