In the NetBackup Management console, using the 'Catalogue' view:
Add a 'size' column to the existing layout, or else;
Introduce a tool that would allow Administrators to determine the size of each of the catlogues.

(The 'Catalogue' search feature currently shows all of the catalogues stored on disk, but there is no way [that I'm aware of] to determine which servers are de-duping poorly, or using unexpectedly large quantities of storage space).

The above would give Administrators an insight into which servers de-dupe poorly, or have high volumes of changed content. Having this information would improve the retention policy design process and reduce substantially the risk of devices unexpectedly running out of disk space.

Either add a 'size' column to the existing layout...

Please elaborate? Add size column to which layout/screen?

Please also tell us what exactly you are referring with regards to 'each catlogue'?

Do you need a report for dedupe stats on a 'per client' basis?
