Greetings,

For the time being, we may export a policy as .dat file, which can be then uncompressed to .xml file. Unfortunately this file is not really human readable.

In case when you have to do an audit every time a policy get edited (and highlight the changes made) … it becomes time consuming.

-          SEPM should be able to export the policy in human readable way, or there should be a tool which allows parsing the data and displaying it in a nice expected way.

Regards,

This is another good idea.

There should be a tool which imitates the window we can see in SEPM Console during editing or crating a policy.

If a tool would be able to compare 2 policies and highlight the difference it would be perfect.

Have you checked out IT Analytics (ITA)?  ITA is a tool that is on the Tools folder and has the ability to create reports of SEP policies.  This may do what you need.

I also agree that there should be a report which shows all of the policy settings and rules in a given group and may be exported to a formatted, human-readable HTML file. Either that or a standalone tool that allows you to select a group and generate the same report.
