New user "welcome" page

My idea to improve Symantec Connect is to create a "new user welcome" process to help new Connectors (yes I just made that up) understand the site. As we know it can be a bit intimidating with all the tabs, the Communities selector, etc. Frequently we see new users posting a "me too" on the end of an existing Blog post or something else on the main Connect page. The main idea is to help new users understand how to effectively use the site and get their question posted to the proper Forum.
This might be a video or step-by-step process that fires off the first several times a user logs in (with an option to supress/hide it/dismiss it).

I think that is a great idea. I think that type of training could help everyone one the site.
Good idea. This sure would have helped me find my way around when I first got started.
I think it is a good idea . This will help new user in getting started with both the ways, if user is seeking any info it will help and if want to contribute he/she can do it easily.
good suggestion. Any type of training for new users will be extremely helpful and provide a better overall experience
Great idea.
Good Idea
It takes a little work to familiarize with navigation the first few times on. A quick introduction would have sped things up nicely.
Very good suggestion - some users just cannot figure out which forum to post in, so anything that helps new Connectors get it right first time has to be a big step forward.

You have my vote! Great Idea.
Great idea, it should be added in a single page also some helpful posts already posted in Connect.
Should include such etiquette as voting & solution marking too!
