Hi,
We already get subscriptions to forum query posts which is great...how about building in notification that a particular forum query is closed?

If you mean, when a solution is provided, then yes and it would be useful if you could select:
If you mean when a forum DISCUSSION query is closed to new comments (i.e locked), then I am not interested in this as this seems to be an arbitrary date, when Admins have a clean-up.
I would also be interested in other updates, like when status changes on an Idea (to implemented, "already offered" etc), although for this to be useful there needs to be negative status's for ideas as currrently there seems to be no status which essentially means "Won't be implemented" - this could be done tactifully like "not enough demand to implement", "too difficult/time consuming to implement"
