It would be a great help to have the standard "windows compliance by computer" report have more info in the report.

Currently all you have is the computer name, compliance, applicable, installed, vulnerable, and restart pending.

I would LOVE to have the report have all the above and then the actual list of what patch is vulnerable for each machine when I export it to excel. Currently I have to export it to excel and then go one by one to see what patch is vulnerable for each computer.

This would save alot of time in reports to see what is vulnerable or not.

You can try to do the following:

1) Open "windows compliance by computer" report.

2) Select necessary drill-down for any computer (e.g. to see applicable updates).

3) The drill-down will show you the information just for the selected machine.

4) Go to the URL of the drill-down IE window. It will contain something like "http://your-ns/Altiris/Reporting/Report.aspx?ItemGuid=ABC1B23D-5B59-4e42-8A18-501E8AC6CC35&Parameters=CompGuid%3a%5bc489ad6e-689d-4d28-8558-ddc1c24e6f08%5d%2cFilterCollection%3a%5b010"

5) Try to remove the highlighted part of the URL and refresh the report.

6) Now it should show the same information (e.g. applicable updates) for ALL computers.

Thanks,

Grigory.

I did the above and no go.  it still shows the 3 vulnerable for that machine only. Is there a way to show the vulnerable in the report when I want to export it to excel?

Remove everything from the URL after the item guid (highlighted part) and see what the report will return in this case.

http://your-ns/Altiris/Reporting/Report.aspx?ItemGuid=ABC1B23D-5B59-4e42-8A18-501E8AC6CC35&Parameters=CompGuid%3a%5bc489ad6e-689d-4d28-8558-ddc1c24e6f08%5d%2cFilterCollection%3a%5b010

Still shows only the vulnerbale for that computer.  I think we are a little confused on what type of report I want.  Here is a screen shot as an attachment. What I want is to have the list of vulnerable patches for that machine in the report next to "restart pending" nothing special just the list of patches.

When you open drill-down report with vulnerable updates for the specific computer, the report is filtered by the specific computer Guid.
In case we remove filtering by specific computer Guid, the report should show same type of information for all machines.

I guess you want this type of report? Exporting it to excel and transforming as needed (e.g. using pivot table) should solve the problem.

If my understanding is correct, I would help to troubleshoot further why removing filters from the URL is not helping you.
Otherwise out of the box reports may not be suitable and only custom report will help.
