KB2685811 and KB2685813 are not supported because the Patch Management Solution does not support driver updates. In addition, our engineering team informed me that the packages associated with these updates cannot be downloaded in an automated manner, which is a prerequisite to be supported by the Patch Management Solution.
Our engineering team is currently researching the other KB articles. I will provide an update when I have additional information in that regard.

Would vmware products fall into this same category? Theres more than a few times that I wish PMI brought in updates for vsphere, vmware player / workstation, etc...

Yes, These 4 updates have been added to Patch Data since version 7.1.376
