Good day.

Currently you collect statistics on the number of solutions a forum member has posted. Please provide a link to display only those articles where this person has posted a solution.

When looking at a members profile or even my own, it would be nice to see where & when this person has posted solutions and then easily reviewing them to easily establish the quality of their posts.

Regards.

It is not up to you to judge the quality of other users' posts.  The solutions are marked by the user who posted the problem/question, so they are the best judge as to whether the answer solved their problem or not.

Dear pkh

You are correct when saying that the original poster should be the person to mark a thread as answered.

What I am saying with that statement is that I can see threads where this person has submitted a solution. I personally still have to make a judgement call to follow that person's other posts or think they are contributing in a worthwhile manner. All of that is independant of the original submitter.

Besides all of that, it would be a nice way to show of my success, either to my peers or prospective employers.

Please mark the post that best solves your problem as the answer to this thread.

Hi,

I personally wouldn't want anybody to track my posts or judge according to the quality of my solutions etc.

A solution simply is a means to get someone's issue resolved...how it gets done is open to interpretation.

Best place to check who has how many solutions is to check the Overview on whatever forum group you frequent.

As for whether or not someone is contributing in a worthwhile manner, that's up to the admins and the TAs (the TAs who would report irregularities to the Admins, or address them directly with the person in question). It's out of our hands and it is a Symantec thing.

Thanks!
