"Purge Now" Button for LiveUpdate Administrator 2.x
At present, it is possible to schedule purges (deleting old revisions) from "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate Administrator\Downloads" ("Purge updates in Manage Updates folder") and from the Distribution Centers (clu-prod and so on). These can be scheduled to occur daily, weekly or monthly and a time can be set.
It would be useful, in circumstances where the admin notices that disk space is crucially short, if LUA 2.x had a "Purge Now" button to manually purge older files in the local copy and / or delete contents of a remote Distribution Center (DC). Such a button may lead to complications about whether the files in these locations are actually old enough to qualify for a purge, but it would be welcome.

Agreed. It would be very helpful.
I too would like this feature, please.
That's a very clever suggestion!
welcome feature
This would be very helpful. Currently, I have to adjust the time to purge to within a few minutes from the current time, let it purge, then set it back.
This would defnitely be a great feature!
