Is there a known testing date, or period, defined for the support of the ext4 file format in conjunction with the RALUS agent?

Hello,

This is something that we have fallen a bit behind on that we definitely apologize for in advance.

We are looking to update our Linux platform support for our RALUS Linux Agent as well as file system support.

What Linux distribution and version are you using EXT4 with? RHEL 6?

I would like to provide you an updated timeline or estimated date for when we can get this done but we simply do not have one right now and need to prioritize this work based on the greatest need by Linux distro, version, and file system.

Let us know what you are running and we will see if we cant get some type of timeline together for you.

Thanks in advance

Peter Imming

Hello Peter,

We are using RHEL 6 with ext4.  A timeline would be very helpful.

Thanks much!

Hey Wajlerl,

RHEL 6 ext 4 Is currently supported in B.E. 2012. Unfortunately it is not yet supported in 2010 and there is no timeline available for if or when it will be supported.

I hope this posting was helpful
